The Musical Theater class is currently full for the Spring of 2025 as they prepare to perform “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” at Antelope Valley College Performing Arts Center.

In this class, we will learn how to prepare for a musical theater audition, research a character, and study a story. This will include vocal training, basic dance training, and acting coaching. At the end of the fall semester, students will go through an audition process that will decide the cast for the spring musical.

COURSE DETAILS:

• Time: Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am - 10:30am

• Grades: 7th - 12th

• Start Date: September 11th

• Costs: $125/month (100/month for non-charter students)

• Location: Quartz Hill
